Although many of us want big change in our lives, most of us do not need to change beyond recognition. For most of us, it is small tweaks, little changes in perception, attitude, focus, action.
Gentle, but persistent changes that make big differences.
It is filling in the gaps to make sense of our world.
It is self-awareness.
It is taking responsibility (but never blame) for your life.
It is dropping habits that hurt us and building habits that heal and help us.
It is looking for the best in our lives and in our loved ones.
It is taking the focus off what’s not working onto what is.
It is figuring out exactly what we want so we can get it.
It is building deep, strong foundations.
It is taking persistent action.
It is becoming the person who is financially free, loved, inspired by their work, in a life they love.
It is removing all the obstacles in the way – toppling the house of cards by removing one or two cards.
It is doing what needs to be done.
It is knowing what needs to be done versus busywork that achieves nothing.
It is loving yourself.
It is being your own biggest cheerleader.
It is connecting with intuition, inner wisdom, higher self.
It is listening to your body, mind, heart, soul and divinity.
It is trusting yourself.
Some of these sound like major-ass projects; the work of years. Some aren’t easy. But all, ALL live in the land of small tweaks. You don’t need to change your entire life, personality and approach. You just need to take small steps and make small tweaks in the right direction.
So pick one of those statements – pick the one that calls you. What small tweaks can you make today in the direction of that?
