It’s Big Dreams Come True time! Woohoo! This month’s fabulous guest is Ming Chee, of www.themoneyalchemist.com and www.reikifurbabies.com.
What Big Dream(s) have you had come true? Tell us all about it/them.
The big dream that came true for me was to totally change my life around money. To no longer struggle with it. I am debt free now, don’t even really need to work if I don’t want to. I am living the dream life that I didn’t even think was possible. I am also doing work that I love and helping people manifest money for themselves now.
What was the catalyst for this dream – what made you want this?
When my husband left me, I was struggling to pay the bills, the mortgage, literally putting food on the table. It was a huge couple years of contrast for me.
What obstacles/challenges did you face along the way and how did you overcome them?
I had challenges every single day but I persevered and would not give up, determined to change my life. I had to stay very present and not think about the next day or the anxiety would be too much.
One specific challenge was when my husband left me on Christmas morning without a word. I was left with a $4000 mortgage and a ton of bills. I think I probably had 20 bill pays scheduled out to go out each month. I literally did not know how I was going to survive. The one thing I did keep on my side was a coach. I made sure I had money to pay her because I knew that it was going to be a vibrational challenge to keep my head above water.
I knew that if I succumbed to anxiety I would go down a rabbit hole and not be able to come back up. It was that scary. So what I did is I focused on being in the present and trusting that things would work out. It was around the same time I got a text from my brother saying he was looking to move to my area with his fiancee. Talk about perfect timing. They ended up moving in with me paying almost half the mortgage.
That was one fire taken care of it. But I still had tons of bills and that didn’t help with the occcasional things you can’t plan for such as a pipe bursting in front of your house. Again, I had to keep my cool on and I was then able to contact a friend who was a realtor who was able to get a guy to come out to fix it ASAP and get me a discount.
It was all these little magical things that kept happening to me. Even when it came to be tax time, my accountant offered ME money and let me pay him months later. I lived in a such a place of gratitude that things kept shifting for me. Still these little wins were amazing but I still had creditors calling me. But finally I made it through. Not only made it through but literally with enough money to never have to work again. So now I teach this to people.
Did everything turn out as you expected it would when your dream came true?
Things turned out better than imagined. I could not even imagine this life.
You co-authored a book with Amina Makdoom…was that another Big Dream Come True, and how did that come about?
When I met Amina Makdoom, we had such a similar way of looking at life we hit it off immediately. in a 40 min phone call we created a 6 week free program which led to our book- Being Present to Serve How we Make Money. Writing the book so effortlessly was definitely a dream come true. We continued our group still even to this day teaching what we practice.
What advice would you have for other people who want to make this Big Dream come true?
My advice would be to never give up hope. Always believe things can get better and change.

Next I would love to give back even in a bigger way than I believe is possible. 🙂 I’m open.
