Dance, Dance Wherever You May Be

Yesterday I received this post from 1000 Awesome Things about Dancing when you’re home alone. It really made me laugh because I do this DAILY. Without the wooden spoon or special attire, I am ashamed to admit. When was the last time you did this? And what song did you do it to?

This week, I would have been mortified to be caught shaking my ass to ‘Single Ladies’ by Beyonce or really going for it, top of my lungs, arms out wide to ‘This is War’ by 30 Seconds to Mars. But whenever I think about it, I laugh. And when I actually do it, my energy goes sky high. So my mission for you this weekend is to put on some music that you LOVE, get your ‘microphone’ at the ready and SING and DANCE to your hearts content…and FEEL the moment, really enjoy that moment, wallow in the fun/joy/hilarity, have fun!

And then tell me what you danced and sang to, how you felt and when you’re going to do it again!

Love

I’m dancing to Lady Gaga’s Bad Romance. Practising my belly dancing moves. This song is my anthem for moving to Edinburgh! Ax

Lol – I love that – next time I’m in a city with an underground I’m going to try it! Hope you’re having a fabulous weekend Anne. xx

I do that very often! 🙂
Mostly when I cook in the evenings – with the music right in the ears (in regard to the sleeping children in the appartment above…) and the spoon or whatever else suitable in my hand. and then – just sing and dance 🙂
Another great place to dance is on the platform while waiting for the underground. Just try it, the world needs more dancing!
Music can be all from Katie Melua to Melissa Etheridge, Herbert Grönemeyer, Ich & Ich and Scorpions. And anything from ABBA – can’t stand still while listen to it.
    Have a wonderful weekend, Donna!
    Hugs Anne
