Last month I talked about deliberately taking the time to connect with your inner wisdom, and I’ve been doing that for the past month. And I noticed that not only is it good to connect daily, it’s good to connect…
When you are scared…
When you are worried…
When you doubt yourself…
When you feel angry…
When you feel antsy…
When you think you are doing life wrong…
When you have a decision to make…
When you think you should be doing something else…
When you need guidance…
When you are looking for answers…
When stress or success are making you crazy…
When you are overwhelmed…
When you are anxious…
When the toodle-do list threatens to swamp you…
When you think someone else knows what’s best for you…
When you’re bored…
When you’re unmotivated…
When you don’t know what to do…
When you’re paralysed by indecision…
When you are freaking out…
When your brain is swinging this way and that way…
When you are sad…
When you feel out of whack…
In fact, whenever you don’t feel connected and calm and peaceful and ‘in flow’…
Go back to your heart. Listen to the wisdom inside you.
Listen to your heart and soul. Let your own inner knowing guide you. You know more than you think you know. And the more you rely on you inner self, your higher self, or the divine (whatever language works best for you) the more you realise that you already have most of the answers you seek (the other answers come more easily the more connected you are), and the easier, calmer, happier, more in flow your life becomes.
Try it. Whenever you feel unsettled or disconnected, take a moment to connect to your heart and your inner wisdom…and just see what happens.
