July Daily Practice Wrap Up: Yoga

It’s the final day of the July Daily Practice of Yoga. Did you join in and do 10 minutes of yoga every day? If you did, give yourself a big Gold star! If you only joined in once, give yourself a gold star anyway…and if you meant to join in, but didn’t find the time, take the time today to do just 10 minutes of yoga practice. I had been wanting to add yoga into my daily routine for months – I know I feel better when I do it, but I had just slipped out of the habit. I’m happy to say, I’m back into the habit now and I’ve noticed the difference.

When I take 10 minutes first thing in the morning to do my yoga, I have more time during the day, I am calmer, my body feels better, I am more connected to source, the postures become easier over time, I am able to stretch further, and because I choose postures intuitively every morning, my body always gets what it most needs on that day. I’ve also been doing yoga outside on sunny mornings (a friend suggested practicing outside in all weathers, but I haven’t got to that yet!) which has been a joyous way to begin the day. Will I be continuing? You betcha!
